Conversations with Siri

I'm not sure if this qualifies as poetry, but this was inspired by the text message poems we did in class.

  1. Wow. So beauty truth! Bestfriend and i (and other poety jerks) use the Alicebot online to have artful conversations about the craft of language and the life of a writer, and this is exactly as haunting a poetry conversation as anything we've faked! Such a classic Abbot and Costello-like routine with the perfect wanted conclusion! Music as a topic is good, pseudo-poetry (let's not fight about that point), but I wonder about asking Siri directly about poetry... would she have any to offer? Could you ask her to recite a poem? What are her favorite types of rhymes? How would she cope? By implicating poetry in the convo, what might otherwise be construed as a script/dialogue could become indisputably "poetic." Also, rather than her messing with you, by trying to confuse her, you assume more of the author role in the text.

ps. And seriously? Eddie who? You know the Ved, right?
